Trilobites

Asaphellus

These Asaphellus trilobites have a distinctive bright orange-red colour due to an iron oxide, limonite. They are 470 million years old and from Ben Zoli, in the Draa Valley of Morocco.

Trilobites themselves around 2-2.5cm, slabs vary in size.
