Triceratops tooth

Triceratops, with its memorable three-horned head, is one of the world's best-loved dinosaurs. Despite its great size, its teeth were - and still are - pretty small. It used its beak to crop off clumps of vegetation which it then chewed up with large tooth batteries at the back of its mouth. When worn, the little teeth that made up these dental plates would fall out and be replaced.

These dinosaurs were among the last of their kind - stomping around at the time of the extinction event that saw the end of the dinosaurs and much of everything else.

Please be aware that these are partial teeth - small and fairly unimpressive. Don't judge them too harshly, as it's not their fault.
