Unusual minerals

It's a long time until the next trade fair trip, but I'll still be topping up the stock now and then. As well as adding to my dinosaur tooth mountain, I picked up a few unusual minerals. There are some (very small, but very colourful) sugilite tumblestones from South Africa, golden labradorite, alexandrite, and some lovely zircon crystals from Brazil, native silver from Russia and garnets from China. There's also one I hadn't seen before, llanite, from Brazil. It's basically little pieces of blue quartz and pink feldspar in rhyolite.

I'll stick some pictures on the Facebook page soon.
