Stones from Saint Marie
Yesterday the stock I bought in Sainte Marie aux Mines arrived. I've made a start on it - priced up some Lebanese shrimp, Brazilian insects, shattuckite from the Congo, woolly mammoth and cave bear teeth, Spanish pyrite crystals, purpurite from Namibia, Madagascan ammonites and moldavite.
There's a huge pile of things waiting their turn, though. I still haven't finished with the last two orders I got it. And sanding down the zebra stone is going to have to take a back seat.
But anyway! New stuff!
