Desert tear chalcedony

Chalcedony is a fine grained quartz variety, and these 'desert tears' are little brown, rounded shapes. The story I just made up about their origin  and subsequent name involves a camel crying becaise it had spilt its yoghurt, but in reality chalcedony spheres form very gradually from the accumulation of water-borne silica.
