Yooperlite

Yooperlite is a made-up name for these surprising little pebbles from the shore of Lake Superior in Michigan. Very dull looking in normal light, a UV torch shows a bright orange glow from the crystals of sodalite that run through the grey syenite. I don't know how to have more than one photo on a website listing, or I'd try to add one taken under UV, but if you can use a computer - and it seems you can - you'll be able to find a picture yourself. Or a video clip. It's worth it.
