Ghubara

This chondrite fell in 1954 in Jiddat al Harasis in Oman. It is classified as an ordinary L5 chondrite, and has an iron content of a little over 20%. Pieces show a nice fusion crust. These little bits are sectioned and the cut surface polished.

Approximately 3cm max dimension.
