Libyan Desert Glass

Libyan Desert Glass is a well-known and pretty tektite. Found predominantly - as you may have guessed - in the desert, in Libya. A tektite is a natural glass formed from terrestrial rock during the heat and general nastiness of a meteorite impact. So it's not from space, but it's created by something from space, like an alien spaceship. I don't think there are any other similarities, unless alien spaceships are yellowish and glassy.

These pieces are 3-4cm.
