Sikhote-Alin
This meteorite fell at 10.30 in the morning of February 12th, 1947 in the Sikhote-Alin mountains of Primorye, Russia. It's an iron meteorite with around 6% nickel, with traces of other elements and some minerals. It's thought that around 100,000 kilos of meteorite hit the ground, scattered over an area over a square kilometre.
Pieces are priced by weight, so vary in shape but the £9.50 pieces are between 1.5 - 2cm across. More expensive ones are bigger, as you'd imagine.
